as summer comes to an end and fall kicks off, we wanted to tap back in and give y’all a review of the last few months!

the most pivotal mission this year has been how we can celebrate and showcase the uniqueness and creativity of our Tamil American culture, and push the movement forward in a significant way.

this has manifested in more virtual platforms through our socials and website, in-person experiences that encapsulate all aspects of our culture, and most importantly, bringing our community together in multiple ways around the country.

this is why we do what we do, and we hope to continue to do more.

our goal with this email series to give y’all a more inside look into what’s happening and how you can take part in the movement yourself.

the first-ever Tamil-American album of original music 🎧

16 Tamil-American artists came together to make a first-ever collective album of 14 original Tamil-English songs spanning several genres and styles. we called it “the ar•ram•bam tape” and our goal was to tell the story of growing up in the intersection of Tamil and American cultures 💙

we brought the story to life at the first ever “ar•ram•bam experience” at an art gallery in NYC in June 🖼️

we’ll be breaking down the album and showcasing our artists over the coming weeks 🫡

our first-ever Fashion drop 🤩

our goal is to create unique pieces that celebrate and represent our cultural movement. for us, designed by us 💎

each drop is limited availability. this drop will only be available to buy for ~48 hours and, after that, it’ll will be unavailable to buy in the future. essentially, the time is now 😎

we’ll have future drops, but each drop will be unique designs and different garments, and sometimes, might not even be garments, who knows 🤷🏾‍♂️

all proceeds from purchases will go directly to powering the community and creator platform. on top of that, we are going to donate $5 per purchase to charity — for this drop, we are donating to Gandhi Ashram for Children in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and Vaazhvaham in Chunnakam, Sri Lanka 🙏🏾

we’ve set up the manufacturing process to be created here in the USA and we can deliver worldwide 🌐
