bringing the community together across 7 cities, 15 events in the next month: dance, meetups, and the ar•ram•bam experience 💎

here’s the key thing, none of these experiences are restricted to just Tamil friends — we want these to be open third spaces where non-Tamil friends can come and immerse themselves in our culture as well. Tamil will always be, and always has been, a melting pot 🫡

tl;dr 💨

  • we’re bringing back “the ar•ram•bam experience” with a volume 2 in San Francisco — there’ll be an visual art showcase, live music performances, and an after-party with DJs & dance performances • Tamil culture, music, art, fashion, and dance all night long!! 💎

  • we just announced the Dance Workshop Tour of Virushigaa across the USA in Washington DC, Dallas, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and New York City 💃🏾

  • we have 4 upcoming dance workshops in NYC • BNAT with Ananya, Hip Hop Fusion with Kavya, Cinematic with Anu Viswa, and Street Jazz with Abhiramy 🤩

  • we’re partying to Kuthu music all night long in Dallas on Oct 24th and NYC on Nov 7th 🥳

  • our goal is to continue to bring the community together to celebrate and showcase our culture in a multitude of ways 😍

we just wrapped up amazing Tamil Meetups in Chicago and San Francisco, but we’re just getting started! the next month and half is about to be absolutely jammed.

this is how we can continue to bring the community together in new ways and celebrate the culture across the country. and here’s the key thing, none of these experiences are restricted to just Tamil friends — we want these to be open third spaces where non-Tamil friends can come and immerse themselves in our culture as well.

Tamil will always be, and always has been, a melting pot 🫡

here’s a bit about our upcoming events below ⬇️

the ar•ram•bam experience, vol. 2 in san francisco: art, music, fashion, dance, and more

we created our first Tamil-American world in New York City on June 27th, and we’re creating the experience again, but this time, across the country to San Francisco on November 8th 💎

2.5 years in the making, this is for all of you who are pushing at the frontiers of our culture and moving it forward in meaningful ways: our goal is showcase the third culture of the Tamil-American diaspora at the intersection of Tamil and Western cultures through art, music, fashion, dance, and more 🤩

we have reserved an industrial warehouse in the heart of San Francisco and we are transforming it into our very own world ✨

walking into the world, you will experience an art showcase from several local artists and, for the first time ever in San Francisco and the West Coast, live performances from our Tamil-American artist collective for our original Tamil-English mixtape, “the ar•ram•bam tape” 🪩

after these experiences, we will have an after-party with incredible DJs and curated dance performances from local dancers to celebrate the culture and dance the night away 🥳

y’all have made our ar•ram•bam collective possible and it has become a movement to shape the future of our culture — this is for all of you who embraced the new with us 🫶🏾

we can only create this ar•ram•bam world with all of you, present, together 🤝🏾

if you’re in SF, please come through and bring your Tamil and non-Tamil friends — if you’re not in SF, but know friends in SF, please definitely let them know 🙏🏾
