What an absolute crazy 48 hours across both SF and NYC 🤩

We just pulled off two fully packed Tamil Meetups on both coasts, with an insane lineup of DJs bringing the house down all night long. 🎶🔥 

Friday night in SF kicked off with DJ Kharish and Trytab to (again) DJ Kharish, Sri , AMLA.DHAS, ur kanmani , and MARGIB in NYC less than 24 hours later on Saturday night. Everyone was booping up, down, left, and right all night long 😎

And we’re just getting started…

🎥 Today, we’re dropping our first major content production of the year featuring MARGIB! But that’s not all—we’ve been cooking up some fire collabs with Tamil creators across America, and we can’t wait to share them in next week’s edition

This is ar•ram•bam unplugged — where we bring you intimate live performances that spotlight Tamil artists and their unique sounds. Our goal? To help our community discover and celebrate the incredible musical talent within our culture 🌍🎤 A few weeks ago, we recorded a live session with MARGIB, and over the next few weeks, we’ll be dropping exclusive clips from that session. 🎧🔥 But this is just the beginning—we’ve got many more Tamil artists lined up, and we can’t wait to share their music with you soon!

Meet MARGIB – Based in New York, MARGIB is a powerhouse of sound, blending his roots in Hindustani and Bengali semiclassical music with modern electronic beats. 🎶 His musical journey took off with Penn Masala, where he honed his skills as a Hindi and Punjabi singer, all while learning to read and write Tamil during college. His passion for music evolved into live DJing and mashup production, initially for Indian dance teams, before expanding into House music production. Today, he’s a resident DJ for Tamil Meetups NYC, where he’s known for fusing Tamil music with EDM and global dance subgenres—creating a sound that’s uniquely his 🔥

What’s next? His future goals include: delving into writing Tamil lyrics and producing more House music tracks 🚀🎧
